Maritza Rodriguez | Maritza is a TNT alum (Fall, 2010) and thyroid cancer survivor. On January 1st, 2011 she spent 5 minutes & 52 seconds in freezing cold water for TNT during the Coney Island Polar Bear Plunge where she received donations for every second she stayed in the water, which was around 33 degrees, excluding wind chill!

| Hannah is a psychology major at Northwestern University, and a member of the True North Treks team. Hannah's sister fought, and eventually lost her battle to cancer at the age of 20. | Liz is a TNT alum (Fall, 2010) and a Hodgkin’s lymphoma survivor. She is also fire dancer and founding member of the Chicago-based Pyrotechniq Fire Troupe. Liz has helped TNT by representing us as a panel discussion member at events and giving her unique perspective for press-related stories.

| Kristin is a fertility preservation patient navigator at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University. She and her husband are also co-founding members of the Surfrider Foundation - Chicago Chapter. Kristin has been an invaluable TNT volunteer and has represented us at national meetings (e.g., OMG Cancer Summit for Young Adults) and helped with our standup paddle board event for young adults with cancer. | Kristin Smith
